A Soundwalk for Brooklyn Botanic Garden
Meander is a site-specific sound walk created for Brooklyn Botanic Garden that guides listeners on a 20-minute meditative stroll into the natural landscape. Created by composers Gelsey Bell and Joseph White, the piece encourages listeners to watch, listen, and reset their clocks to pastoral temporality, inviting them to sink into the complex patterns and fine details of the natural environment.

A Soundwalk for Green-Wood Cemetery

Cairns is a soundwalk for Green-Wood Cemetery that leads the listener on a solitary poetic journey. Written and narrated by HARP Artist Gelsey Bell with music by Bell and composer Joseph White, Cairns is being created for the social-distancing New Yorker to meditate on the land we inhabit, sink into an arboreal temporality, and unearth the stories of a few historic trailblazers.
